1. The Ed Gein Murders:
Ed Gein, known as the "Butcher of Plainfield," murdered numerous women and made clothing and furniture from their skin and bones. His crimes were discovered in 1957, and he was found guilty of murder. Gein's story inspired films like "Psycho" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
2. The Jeffrey Dahmer Murders:
Jeffrey Dahmer, the "Milwaukee Cannibal," murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. He engaged in necrophilia, cannibalism, and preserved body parts. Dahmer was arrested in 1991 and confessed to the murders. He was killed in prison in 1994.
3. The John Wayne Gacy Murders:
John Wayne Gacy, the "Killer Clown," murdered at least 33 young men and boys between 1972 and 1978. He buried their bodies under his home and was arrested in 1978. Gacy was executed by lethal injection in 1994.

Pedro Lopez, the "Monster of the Andes," murdered an estimated 300-400 girls in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador between 1969 and 1980. He was arrested in 1980 and sentenced to 18 years in prison.
